  Saratoga Springs Bike Tour - Rebels and Resorts - Jun 19-24, 2011 | Jun 26-Jul 1, 2011

Join us in upstate Vermont and New York; bike with us through the pastoral beauty of the countryside and view the majesty of the Adirondack and Green mountains. Come to Saratoga Springs—home to the famous healing waters and the oldest continuously-operating thoroughbred race track in the United States—and experience this gilded age resort that continues to offer visitors the best in luxury today. Bike through the battlefields where the American Revolution turned in favor of the American rebels. See the field where thousands of British soldiers laid down their arms. Bike across the mighty Hudson River and on into the Green Mountains of Vermont. Visit the villages where the Green Mountain Boys fought the British, and later invaders from New York, to gain independence for both the United States and Vermont. Pedal to the shores of Lake George, Queen of American Lakes, and enjoy stunning vistas of the crystal waters surrounded by the majestic Adirondack Mountains. At the end of the bike tour each day, pamper yourself with food and lodging provided in some of America’s first and best resort towns.

“Perfectly situated on the main drag in the heart of the historic district…. this family-owned small hotel is like a grown-up B&B, elegant but very relaxed…from its antique wicker chairs, you can watch the world go by” (Frommer’s Guide on the Saratoga Arms, October 26, 2009).

“Every stay has been enjoyable…the rocking chairs on the long porches are particularly inviting...” (From Trip Advisor on the Cambridge Hotel August 22, 2009).
